The last couple of weeks have not been kind to Daniel Bryan. With Triple H, and Randy Orton aligned together, it is safe to say that there will be a long couple of weeks before Night of Champions. Triple H would also award Orton a brand new Cadillac Escalade.

With Triple H standing in the middle of the ring at the beginning of the show, and the Shield standing ring-side, Bryan would address his issues at the entrance ramp. Triple H would continue to belittle Bryan as he would set up a gauntlet match for Bryan against each of the Shield members consisting of Dean Ambrose, Roman Regins, and Seth Rollins.

As the match neared, Bryan would spray-paint, “YES, YES” all over the Escalade which would have Triple H, and company fuming. Triple H would also hear about the gossip about his decisions, and would send the entire RAW roster out to the entrance ramp to watch the gauntlet match, and if anyone were to interfere, they would be fired.

Bryan would go up against Rollins in his first match, but Bryan would have his hands full, as noted via WWE.com. “First came a grueling onslaught from Seth Rollins, which Bryan endured thanks to a top-rope German suplex and running knee to the head that put the Tag Champion down for a pin. His next two wins came under less decisive circumstances, as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose interfered in each other’s Gauntlet installments to give Bryan a pair of DQ wins.”

Adding insult to the situation the Shield would triple-powerbomb Bryan, and Bryan would be greeted by Orton with an RKO to finish him off.

CM Punk on the other would face off against Curtis Axel, and if he were to win that match, he would go one on one against Paul Heyman. Punk would take care of Axel with his Go to Sleep finisher for the victory, and all eyes were on Heyman after that. As Punk was ready to strike Heyman, Axel retaliated with a low-blow which would eventually Punk in hand-cuffs by Axel, and Heyman would proceed with multiple strikes to Punk with a Kendo stick leaving Punk bruised.
