Today in Sports History – 6/20

Today in sports history…

In 1993, the Chicago Bulls won the NBA finals against the Phoenix Suns in 6 games.  They became the first team since the Celtics in the 60’s to win three championships in a row, or a three-peat.  Michael Jordan was the finals MVP and averaged 41.0 pts, 8.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.  Jordan and Barkley highlighted the series as the #3 and #5 picks in the ’84 draft and two of the most dominant players in the league.
