Today in Sports History – 5/22

Today in sports history…

In 2003, Annika Sörenstam became the first woman to play in the PGA Tour since 1945 (Babe Zaharias).  She played in the Bank of America Colonial Tournament in Fort Worth, TX.  She finished 5 over par and missed the cut after the first 2 days.  Historical day nonetheless for the PGA.
