The Haps – March 18, 2013

What’s the Haps for March 18, 2013?

….

The Links –

Mark Cuban, Mavs fans boo Derek Fisher

-I’m actually siding with Cubes here. I guarantee if the Mavs were in position to win a title this year D-Fish, or FISHAY FISHAY, would still be playing for Dallas.

Rajon Rondo 2013 “I’ll be back” mix

-If Rajon wasn’t my favorite player I wouldn’t have included this in The Links since it seems like he hasn’t really been gone that long and the music seems a bit too dramatic. Well he is, so it’s here.

Verizon Pay Per Viewer Model Could Be Disastrous For Conference TV Networks

-Just the like the housing boom in the late 90s/early 2000s you had to know the Conference Network Cash Grab was not going to last forever. Here’s the first potential crack in the B1G/SEC Network armor I’ve seen presented. I knew I should have hated that Maryland/Rutgers double-dip by the B1G earlier this year more than I did.

March Madness All-Time 5-on-5 Bracket

-This was actually sent to the main NCB account and I was thisclose to dumping this link into the SPAM box. Turns out this was pretty interesting, but how did Channing Frye make the all-time Arizona Wildcats starting five? Yikes.

The Pic –

Saw this come through my Tumblr feed today. MJ Mondays right?

Michael Jordan Over Ewing

The 90’s Joint –

Winnipeg Jets. Detroit Tigers. Philadelphia Phillies. These cats were either really into sports or they just hit up an ALCO for some fugazy sports apparel. The song was dope though.

Missing from their jersey collection is the San Jose Sharks (Who might not have been around then). They could have their own West Side Story going on!

Jeebus Brian…I think every time I watch that video now I’m going to think about the Jets and Sharks going at it.
