The Bears started the season 1-0 yesterday with an impressive victory over the Colts. However, you wouldn’t know it from the drama brewing already. First, it was reported that Brian Urlacher was not happy that he was taken out of the game early while he still recovers from knee surgery. “I wanted to get back out there the whole time,” he said. “I was excited. We made a lot of plays on defense. It was just fun. I would rather be in there. But it was fun to watch our defense play like that.”

Next up to get some things off his chest was running back Matt Forte. He got his money this offseason but now he wants to prove he is the man. Well that’s a problem since the Bears signed Michael Bush who is a known touchdown vulture in fantasy football terms. In real football terms, he is a great short yardage back who will help take some of the load off Matt Forte who has been injury prone. Forte is having known of that early in the season though: “It’s been happening my whole career here, so I don’t know,” Forte said, telling reporters the decision is offensive coordinator Mike Tice’s to make.

Jay Cutler Chicago Bears Quarterback The Chicago Bears Have Issues AlreadyThe last seat on the complaining express is saved for Jay Cutler, who is not happy about Bears fans making noise while the offense is in the red zone and even cut a PSA about it. “Please, please, please, let’s tone it down a little bit when we’re down on the 20. You’re more than welcome to yell and scream and do whatever you want to do after we score, but please let’s go ahead and quiet the stadium down and save it until after we score. Thank you.”

I hope this is not a sign of things to come for the Bears this season. It’s only week 1 and their 3 biggest stars and leaders are all complaining about silly stuff. This could be a special season in Chicago, so it would be terrible to waste it because they have stars that are soft as tissue paper.
