The Spread Offense | Thursday, August 31st

On this week’s episode of The Spread Offense, the guys take a look back at Stanford’s total destruction of Rice and a very good game between Hawaii at UMass. Quick Slants for this week includes Raekwon Davis getting shot in the leg, Florida and Michigan’s color rush jerseys for Saturday, and the relocation of BYU/LSU to New Orleans. As that is technically a neutral site kickoff game, in this week’s Run/Pass option we discuss some different cities that could (or might not) make for good kickoff games in the future. Finally, we spend lots of time looking ahead at this week’s slate, debate upset picks, and give our general feelings on teams heading into a five-day stretch of games.

Oh, and here are some handy timestamps of the different sections, in case you only want to hear certain parts. Sorry we talk so much.

The Reverse – 0:54
Quick Slants – 3:15
Run/Pass Option – 13:00
The Hurry Up – 21:35
The Big 5 – 50:38

Enjoy, and thanks for listening!
