David Stern has been facing questions for years about the NBA Draft lottery being rigged. I guess he is sick of it and now lashing out like only he can. When Rome asked him if the lottery was rigged today, Stern replied back in a mocking tone: “Have you stopped beating your wife?”
To be clear, there have never been any allegations of Jim Rome beating his wife Janet but Stern was trying to be the condescending ass that he is. Check out the audio of the full interview here.
Maybe David Stern needs to take a look at his league though. With the allegations of the lottery being rigged, refs being accused of being on the take, and flopping, there are plenty of things for him to focus on. Expect an apology of some sort very soon.
