Hallelujah! Shout it from the rooftops! The dark days are finally over! I repeat: The dark days are finally over!
What dark days, you ask? The dark days of not having the NFL Network and RedZone channels on Time Warner Cable! According to Bloomberg Businessweek, a deal between the NFL and Time Warner cable has been hammered out and could be announced sometime today.
Read that again.
Go ahead, I’ll wait.
Done? Okay, isn’t that freaking awesome??!!
I’ve long coveted what my satellite dish-bedecked family and friends have had since the NFL Network came into being. This is the one channel dedicated to a single sport that I will actually watch and up until now Time Warner has pretty much carried everything but this channel. Major suckage, if you’re primarily an NFL fan. Being a longtime Time Warner customer has been fine aside from this monster omission. Cable’s great because you don’t lose your reception when the wind blows or a cloud goes over your house or it rains or the Earth is rotating or, well, when normal everyday things happen. The only thing that would make this any sweeter would be if NFL Sunday Ticket was coming to Time Warner, too. But we all know that won’t be happening. Oh, well.
Happy Friday and happy NFL Network and NFL RedZone Coming to Time Warner Cable Day!

God. Please somebody stop the bias. I watch the networks and all the do is mention neworleans, greenbay, carolina, giants or redskins. You would think Rams or 49ers do not exist in the NFL. What happen to the symbol NFL PEOPLE or did it become republican or democrat. Dang somebody please show equal time for equal teams.
