There have been a lot of alternate uniforms this year. I like to think of this as Oregon’s great contribution to College Football. The latest ones are from Army and Navy for their rivalry game on December 8th for the Commander In-Chief’s Trophy. There are a lot of cool little details to the uniforms. Navy’s helmets are split by a wide metallic gold bar, but the signal flags on the very back spell out “Beat Army.” The sleeves, numbers and helmet stripes on Army’s uniforms feature a map from The Battle of the Bulge. These are a couple of my favorites so far this year.
