The Open Man is a conversational sports podcast hosted by No Coast Bias’s and 4 Down Territory’s Sam Pouncey. Each week, Sam will bring on a guest to discuss pertinent sports topics of the day. The hope is to be both entertaining and informative. If you have any topic suggestions or would like to become a guest of the pod feel free to leave a comment below.

This week Matt Davis joins Sam for an all-baseball edition of “The Open Man”.  Matt and Sam give their mid-season MLB picks, College World Series picks and unpack the Luke Heimlich situation (Sam also pulled a great “Doug and Charlie” moment and mistakenly called him “Tommy Heimlich”).  The podcast ends with the two offering takes on Shohei Otani, or as he’s more affectionately known “Japanese Babe Ruth”.
