The Forward Formerly Known as Metta World Peace

So most sports fans know how (cough) eccentric Ron Artest (or Metta World Peace) can be.  He had a major role in the Malice at the Palace where he ran up into the stands and fought with fans.  He came out with a rap album titled My World, which you can buy today for $7.99 on Amazon.  He changed his name to Metta World Peace.  It seems like he’s going to make the whole name change thing his thing.  World Peace is headed to China to play ball, and of course, decided that this called for a name change.  It’s officially going to be (drumroll, please) “The Panda’s Friend“.

Impressive, right?  I thought so too.

Editor’s note: This picture and all following pictures are fake as can be. But this is how I picture him in my head.

So I tried to think of what his future name changes might be when he makes his world basketball tour and plays in different countries every few months.  Here’s a few of them.
