It’s cliche but one of the easiest ways to let someone know you’re a die-hard fan of a team is to say you “bleed (insert team color here).” Even though technically everyone bleeds red, one of the most popular phrases on Husker apparel and merchandise involves this cliche — “I Bleed Husker Red,” the stickers and license plates read.
One of the University’s official sponsors takes this saying to the next level, though. Almost literally. Check out First National Bank’s “Bleeding Husker Red” digital billboard.
