Derrick Rose Says He Sits Out Of Games Because He Doesn’t Want To Be Sore In Post Basketball Life

So Derrick Rose let me get this straight… you don’t want to be sore at your son’s graduation or at meetings because you’re getting paid millions of dollars to play basketball? So you’re gonna sit out games now so you’re back or knees don’t hurt 15 years down the road? That’s the attitude of a true team player right there.

If you were actually on the court playing 75+games each season then I could maybe understand where your coming from, but bro you’ve missed over 190 games in your career. The last thing you should be talking about is sitting out more games so you’re not sore when you retire. If anything, you should be talking about trying to be on the court as much as possible.

Kobe Bryant is coming off 2 season ending injuries (just like you) and wants to play in all 82 games this year. (By the way, he’s 10 years older than you) There’s also other players in the league who’ve had some sort injury in their career, but they still want to play as much as possible. I’ve also never heard any of them complain about being sore in post NBA life. You know why? BECAUSE YOU’RE GONNA BE SORE NO MATTER WHAT! That’s what happens when you play professional sports. You’re testing your bodies limits night in and night out, while getting paid millions. If you don’t want to be sore during your son’s graduation then maybe you should retire from the NBA and get a normal 9-5 job. Maybe you’re body will feel a little better.

In the mean time, stop acting like such a puss and do your job.
