Burning Question: Will City’s fixture list be their undoing? It is safe to say that City has the most potent, talented side in the Premier League. They are challenging for an unprecedented quadruple, having won the League Cup on Sunday. But, will their fixture pile-up prevent them winning more? City has 2 Premier League games in-hand (to play), FA Cup match(es) and a 2-0 deficit to Barcelona to take to the Nou Camp to get back in the Champions League race. Will this talented squad be able to plow through a tough March on the way to more silverware?
Bold Performance: Andre Schurrle against Fulham. In an otherwise dull performance, Schurrle’s class in the second half stood out. His well-taken hat trick set Chelsea 4 points clear at the top of the table.
Bollocks Prediction: Liverpool win the league. Liverpool is in 2nd place in the Premier League, in case you hadn’t noticed. With their anti-City, not fixture pile-up (yes, that’s a terrible way to say that they only play Premier League matches), it’s conceivable to think that Liverpool could overtake Chelsea, City and Arsenal for the League title. Oh, and the SaS combo doesn’t hurt either. The prediction for which team will win the league changes weekly, but Liverpool might be around to stay this time. Maybe.
